Sous Chef

Assisting the Executive Chef with managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring food quality. Key responsibilities include preparing dishes, managing inventory and supplies, training kitchen staff, and handling administrative tasks like menu costing and scheduling. Sous chefs also maintain cleanliness and safety standards, troubleshoot kitchen equipment issues, and take charge of the kitchen in the Executive Chef's absence.
