Sous Chef

Camp Kalsman is seeking a passionate Sous Chef for our kitchen operations and support our culinary team in serving nutritious, delicious meals to our camp community. This is a full-time seasonal position perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do:

• Lead line cook operations and mentor kitchen staff members
  
• Execute large batch cooking for 250+ campers and staff daily
  
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  
• Collaborate with the head chef/Kitchen manager on food preparation and meal service
  
• Foster a positive, supportive kitchen culture

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience with large-scale batch cooking and meal preparation
  
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
  
• Leadership skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for camp life
  
• A passion for feeding and supporting others
