We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef (Bread) who will play a key role in overseeing daily bakery operations, ensuring the production of high-quality bread and baked goods, and maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and standards. The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of experience in a similar role within a reputable bakery, hotel, or restaurant.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily bread production and ensure all recipes and standards are followed accurately.
  • Prepare and bake various types of bread, rolls, and other bakery items according to production schedules.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and labelling of all bakery ingredients.
  • Inspect deliveries for quality, quantity, and temperature, and report any discrepancies to the chef or storekeeper.
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in the bakery section at all times.
  • Oversee the consistency and quality of baked products, ensuring uniformity and freshness.
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) principles for ingredient rotation.
  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and used properly.
  • Train and guide junior staff in baking techniques and safety practices.
  • Record wastages and ensure they are reported and disposed of as per company policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
