Job Summary
As a Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for helping oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation, from menu planning to food preparation. You will lead a team of culinary professionals to deliver high-quality dishes while ensuring a smooth kitchen operation.
Responsibilities
Participate and oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or promotions
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in roles involving food production, handling, and preparation
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Proven track record in team management and kitchen operations
- Excellent culinary skills with expertise in various cooking techniques
- Catering and large party experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
