Role Overview

The Spa Attendant is responsible for ensuring a seamless and luxurious guest experience at Izil Moroccan Beauty Spa. This role requires maintaining cleanliness, assisting therapists, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. The Spa Attendant must uphold the highest hygiene and service standards while working in line with the company’s values and goals.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Customer Service

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival, confirming their reservations and guiding them through their spa experience.
  • Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Provide information about spa treatments, services, and packages to guests.
  • Address guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Ensure a professional and thorough follow-up with guests post-treatment.

Facility & Hygiene Maintenance

  • Regularly inspect and clean spa areas, including the lobby, treatment rooms, and relaxation areas.
  • Ensure that treatment rooms and common areas are impeccably maintained at all times.
  • Replenish towels, bathrobes, and linens as needed between treatments.
  • Monitor and restock spa supplies, including massage oils, skincare products and amenities.
  • Assist in maintaining proper inventory control and reporting discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene and cleanliness standards as per company policies and Dubai Municipality guidelines.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Assist massage therapists and aestheticians with setting up and preparing for sessions.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as booking appointments, answering calls, and managing the spa database.
  • Process guest payments and assist with product purchases as required.
  • Promote and recommend spa products and services to guests.
  • Support the spa receptionist and team in ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Be knowledgeable about all spa services, treatments, and operational standards. Team Collaboration & Compliance
  • Work closely with spa therapists, receptionists, and management to provide a cohesive guest experience.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Adhere to timekeeping and attendance policies.
  • Follow emergency and evacuation procedures as outlined by management.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, complying with company grooming and uniform standards.
  • Always maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding guest information.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Based on guest feedback and ratings.
  • Cleanliness & Hygiene: Evaluated through routine inspections and audits.
  • Punctuality & Reliability: Adherence to work schedules and responsibilities.
  • Product Knowledge: Awareness of spa services and ability to recommend suitable treatments

Work Schedule

  • Standard work schedule is 9 hours per day (excluding breaks) with one day off per week.
  • Due to the nature of the spa industry, the role requires flexibility in working evenings, weekends, split shifts, and public holidays.
