Overview:
The Spa Therapist is responsible for providing a wide range of specialized treatments designed to promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and healing. This role requires expertise in various therapeutic techniques, including lymphatic drainage, maderotherapy, acupressure, face yoga, and pre/post-natal massages. The therapist will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and deliver personalized treatments to enhance their well-being.
This role is ideal for a skilled and compassionate therapist with a passion for wellness and holistic health. The Therapist will play an integral part in delivering specialized treatments designed to meet the unique needs of each client while maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Specialized Treatment Delivery:
- Lymphatic Drainage (Full Body and Face): Perform lymphatic drainage massage to stimulate the lymphatic system, reduce fluid retention, and improve circulation, with a focus on the full body and face.
- Face Lymphatic Drainage with Gua Sha: Use Gua Sha tools to enhance facial lymphatic drainage, reduce puffiness, and promote circulation for a youthful glow.
- Maderotherapy: Administer wood therapy to reduce cellulite, sculpt the body, and improve lymphatic drainage, using wooden tools to contour and firm areas such as the abdomen, thighs, and arms.
- Acupressure: Perform acupressure techniques to stimulate specific pressure points that promote relaxation, relieve tension, and improve overall energy flow.
- Deep Stretch Massages: Provide deep stretch massages targeting muscle tension and flexibility, helping clients increase mobility and relieve muscle stiffness.
- Physio Massage (Full Body): Use physiotherapy techniques to relieve muscular pain, improve movement, and address specific body issues, tailoring the treatment for individual needs.
- Face Yoga: Teach and perform face yoga techniques to improve skin tone, reduce signs of aging, and enhance facial muscle strength.
- Infrared Sauna Sessions: Guide clients through the use of infrared sauna sessions, which help detoxify the body, reduce stress, and improve circulation.
- Scrubs with Hot Poultice Treatment (Neck, Shoulders, Full Body): Administer exfoliating body scrubs followed by hot poultice treatment to relax muscles, reduce tension, and promote deep relaxation.
- Pre and Post-Natal Massages: Provide gentle and therapeutic pre and post-natal massages to relieve pregnancy-related discomforts and support post-birth recovery.
2. Client Consultation and Personalized Treatment:
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and any medical conditions that may impact treatment.
- Recommend suitable treatments based on the client’s requirements, customizing each session to address specific concerns such as stress relief, muscle tension, or detoxification.
- Offer aftercare advice, including lifestyle, hydration, and follow-up treatment suggestions.
3. Professionalism and Client Care:
- Maintain a high level of professionalism by offering a calm, safe, and relaxing environment for clients.
- Ensure all treatments are performed with the utmost care, respecting client privacy and comfort.
- Establish rapport with clients, ensuring a personalized experience that meets or exceeds their expectations.
- Handle any client concerns or feedback with professionalism and resolve any issues in a timely and respectful manner.
4. Cleanliness and Safety Compliance:
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized therapy room, ensuring all equipment and tools are properly sterilized before and after use.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in line with industry standards.
- Ensure that all client records are kept confidential and stored securely.
5. Continued Education and Skill Development:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in the spa and wellness industry.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skill sets and knowledge of specialized treatments.

- Expertise in Specialized Therapies: Proven experience and proficiency in the listed treatments (Lymphatic Drainage, Maderotherapy, Acupressure, Physio Massage, etc.).
- Client-Focused Approach: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to tailor treatments to meet individual client needs and provide exceptional service.

Qualifications:
- Advanced Certifications in multiple treatment modalities
- Specialized training or certification in the treatments mentioned (e.g., Lymphatic Drainage, Maderotherapy, Pre/Post-Natal Massage).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a spa or wellness setting, with a focus on therapeutic treatments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury spa environments in UAE
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for specific treatments.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Proven expertise in recovery based treatments
- Deep understanding of holistic wellness practices
