Spa Therapist - 6 Months Contract

We need a Spa Therapist to keep our spa flowing smoothly.

As one of our hotel’s greatest assets, we’re looking for passionate people to maintain the sense of health and hush in our spa. First and foremost, we’re looking for a Spa Therapist with a great deal of wellness knowledge – people who can recommend our premium products.

The Spa Therapist is responsible for performing all spa treatments to guests in a professional manner and at an exceptional service level.

Job Responsibilities

• Proactively seek to provide refined luxury service ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies and procedures.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
• Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously.
• Participate in the property’s sustainability initiative through energy conservation and the use of recycling programs and materials.
• To maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as lay down by the Spa Director.
• Review Health notes for each guest in Spa to ensure that they are being completed and up to date.
• To cover Spa Attendant duties as and when required.

You must be passionate about guest service, have a previous experience in the same role from a luxury environment and have outstanding interpersonal skills with an energetic and vibrant personality. You must have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English.

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed therapist in a luxury hotel setting
• Must possess a license in massage therapy and a certification in a cosmetology, aesthetic, or related field
• A working knowledge of skin care therapies, hair removal techniques, and beauty products and trends
• Strong verbal and written communication skills: English Language
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of holistic concepts and treatments
• Professional grooming
• Self-motivated
• Comfortable performing treatments for at least 8 hours
• Knowledge of current spa trends, industry and philosophy (balance, relaxation, unity, and a healthy lifestyle)
