Spanish Speaking Virtual Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Spanish Speaking Virtual Medical Assistant to support daily clinical and administrative operations remotely. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers with patient care coordination, administrative tasks, and ensure smooth workflow within the facility. Experience in identifying and addressing care gaps is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers with routine clinical and administrative tasks
• Take and update patient medical histories, documentation, and health information
• Manage patient scheduling, follow-ups, and appointment coordination
• Maintain accurate records in electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems
• Support patient communication, appointment reminders, and follow-up calls
• Perform administrative duties such as documentation, reporting, and insurance verification
• Identify and help address care gaps, including preventive screenings and follow-up care needs
• Coordinate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required
• Experience working with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care workflows
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
