Role Overview
Responsible for managing the acquisition and availability of spare parts for machinery, vehicles, and equipment. Works with suppliers and internal teams to maintain smooth procurement processes, optimize costs, and prevent operational downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement & Sourcing – Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure quality of parts.
- Inventory Management – Monitor and control stock levels to ensure timely availability and accuracy.
- Supplier Relations – Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders for efficient supply chain operations.
- Coordination – Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to manage inflow/outflow of parts and resolve issues.
- Cost Control – Track expenses, control procurement costs, and maintain required quality standards.
- Market Awareness – Stay updated on product launches, trends, and competitor pricing to support purchasing decisions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of spare parts (e.g., vehicles, equipment, and earth-moving machinery) and compatibility.
- Understanding of procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving ability with a focus on availability and efficiency.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office tools.
