Special Education Teacher

10 Points is looking to hire excellent and experienced Moderate/Severe Special Education Teachers for our school sites in Pleasanton, CA for the school year 2025-26, 35-40 hours School Days per week. Certificates and/or Licenses:

• Valid teaching certificate with one or more special education endorsements OR enrolled in an appropriate special education program.

Education and/or Experience:

• B.A./B.S. degree required, with classroom experience preferred.
• Experience with online tools (Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, zoom, etc.) is a BIG plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following represents some major areas of concern in Special Education. Other areas in the Special Education field will be required to fulfill all the needs of the classroom and student IEPs.

• Plan curriculum, lessons, and special education programs and teaching methods.
• Maintain contact with parents of students and invite them to participate in educational progress.
• Maintain the physical environment of the classroom for organization and presentation purposes.
• Instruct individuals and groups on Special Ed. skill areas.
• Modify curriculum according to IEP and administer testing evaluations.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
