About the Role:
EduTherapy 360 is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher (Mod/Severe) to join a supportive school in Marblehead, MA. This role focuses on teaching and supporting Grade 9 students with moderate to severe disabilities, providing individualized instruction that promotes academic, social, and life skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide specialized instruction for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to ensure accessibility.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages independence and growth.

Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts Teaching License in Special Education (Moderate/Severe Disabilities).
• Experience teaching high school students with significant disabilities (preferred).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Contract Details:

• Grade Level: 9th Grade
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Full-Time, School Hours (Monday–Friday)
• Contract Duration: 2025 School Year
• Compensation: Competitive hourly pay, based on experience.
