Schedule:

• Hours: 07:45 am to 03:30 pm
• Start Date: ASAP

Preference to Active Special Education certification in MA, but open to sponsoring emergency permits or considering candidates in the process of obtaining a license

Qualifications Required:

• License required: Active Special Education Certification for Massachusetts.
• B.A./B.S. degree is required, with preferred classroom experience.
• 2+ years of experience working as a special education teacher.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In this role, your main responsibilities will include

• Planning curriculum, lessons, and special education programs using effective teaching methods.
• Maintaining regular contact with parents and involving them in their child's educational progress.
• Ensuring the classroom environment is well-organized and conducive to learning.
• Instructing individuals and groups in various special education skill areas.
• Modifying curriculum according to individualized education plans (IEPs) and conducting testing evaluations.
