Special Education Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educating students with diverse learning needs, particularly those with autism and other developmental challenges. This role requires an individual who is skilled in early intervention strategies, literacy education, and behavioral therapy, and is eager to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Educate students in various subjects while incorporating specialized teaching techniques to enhance learning.
• Provide support in toddler care and preschool settings, ensuring a nurturing environment for young learners.
• Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills among students.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to foster a holistic approach to child welfare.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary to ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Background in early intervention strategies and literacy education is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with private school settings or preschool environments is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• A genuine passion for supporting the educational growth of children with special needs.
