Who We’re Looking For
We are urgently hiring a Special Education Teacher (Mild to Moderate) to begin immediately. This full-time position is for a traditional high school special education classroom supporting students with mild-to-moderate needs. The assignment includes one period of modified curriculum content and does not involve intensive autism or severe behavior cases.

We’re looking for a compassionate, structured, and adaptable educator ready to make an immediate impact on students’ growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction and support in a mild-to-moderate special education setting
• Teach one period of modified curriculum content aligned with student needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with district and state standards
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the school’s special education programs

• Ability to adapt and differentiate instruction to meet individual needs
• Commitment to inclusion, teamwork, and student-centered teaching

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate Authorization required)
• English Learner Authorization (EL) or eligibility through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
