Job Summary
Join our dynamic educational team as a Special Education Teacher, where your passion for fostering inclusive learning environments will inspire and empower students with diverse needs. In this role, you will develop and implement tailored instructional strategies that support children with disabilities, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, and speech or behavioral challenges. Duties

  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with individualized education programs (IEPs) to meet each student’s unique learning goals.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through proactive behavior management techniques, creating a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists—to coordinate comprehensive support plans.
  • Utilize learning technology and adaptive tools to enhance instruction and facilitate accessibility for students with disabilities.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Implement early intervention strategies to support children in their developmental milestones from preschool through early childhood education settings.
  • Provide specialized instruction in areas such as literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills tailored to individual needs.

Experience

  • Proven classroom experience working with children with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays.
  • Hands-on experience in special education settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development for early childhood education and familiarity with Montessori or other child-centered pedagogies is a plus.
  • Experience working with children requiring speech therapy or behavioral therapy interventions.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in behavior management and child welfare.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively while maintaining compliance with educational standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, colleagues, and external specialists dedicated to supporting children’s growth. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
