Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year for Homer School District!

Position Details

Schedule: Full‑Time, In‑Person
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Homer Glen, IL
Caseload: Junior High or Middle School (openings at both)
New Grads: Welcome! We provide training and mentorship

Your Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to meet IEP goals

• Collaborate with school teams and participate in IEP meetings

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Support inclusive education practices within general education settings

• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement in Illinois

• Passion for inclusive, student-centered teaching

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Dedication to equity, growth, and collaboration
