Job Description Network Engineer

Role Overview

The Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing maintaining and supporting data center and enterprise network infrastructure The role includes Level 23 support incident management network upgrades troubleshooting and documentation while ensuring adherence to defined SLAs

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Support Troubleshooting
• Provide L2L3 support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues within defined SLAs
• Handle data center and Branches network incidents and changes and ensure timely resolution according to SLA
• Participate in oncall rotation handling Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents in real time
• Perform root cause analysis RCA and implement longterm corrective actions
• Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure changes procedures and configurations
• Implementation Maintenance
• Install configure and troubleshoot Cisco network devices routers switches firewalls wireless
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs patches hotfixes and security configurations
• Deploy and support network hardware including
• Cisco NXOS platforms N2K N3K N5K N7K N9K
• Cisco IOS Catalyst switches 3850 9300 9500 and Fortigate switches
• Cisco SDWAN Viptela
• Cisco FTD Firewalls and Fortigate FW
• Cisco FMC and fortimanager
• Execute code upgrades on network devices to mitigate vulnerabilities and maintain standards
• Network Technologies Protocols
• Work on routing protocols EIGRP OSPF BGP OMP
• Work on switching technologies STP RSTP
• Support LANWAN enterprise wireless and data center networks
• Strong troubleshooting skills across OSI Layers 17
• Experience with load balancing strategies SSL certificates persistence methods and application traffic management

Benefits
Compensation range: $120000 to $130,000.00 per year
