Thesuccessfulcandidatewillberesponsibleforthe diagnosis and management of dental pulp and periapical conditions, delivering high-quality root canal treatments and advanced endodontic procedures.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities - Endodontics:

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues
• Perform root canal treatments (RCT) and retreatments with high precision and success rates
• Conduct complex endodontic procedures, including management of calcified canals, curved roots, and previously treated teeth
• Perform endodontic microsurgery (apicoectomy) where indicated
• Utilise dental operating microscopes and digital radiography for accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Manage dental trauma cases, including pulp injuries and root fractures
• Collaborate with general dentists, prosthodontists, and oral surgeons for comprehensive treatment planning
• Provide pain management and emergency dental care related to pulp and periapical conditions
• Ensure infection control and sterilisation protocols are strictly followed
• Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene, and preventive measures
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records inline with regulatory standards
• Participate in clinical audits and continuous professional development activities
