Reports To: Director: Informatics and Ancillary Services
Location: Pagosa Springs Medical Center – Pagosa Springs, CO. This position is based on-site at Pagosa Springs Medical Center. A hybrid work arrangement may be considered for qualified candidates, consistent with operational needs.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for Oracle Health (Cerner) EHR users
• Collaborate with department leaders to improve clinical and revenue cycle workflows
• Perform system testing and validation for upgrades, enhancements, and new workflows
• Submit and manage Oracle Health service requests and monitor Community updates
• Communicate system-wide issues and resolutions to end users
• Assist patients with establishing and troubleshooting patient portal accounts
• Manage user access, permissions, and support onboarding/offboarding processes
• Provide and support access to Contexture’s Patient Care 360 HIE
• Run, validate, troubleshoot, and analyze clinical and revenue cycle reports
• Assist end users in exporting and scheduling reports
• Support data validation and performance improvement initiatives
• Maintain strict confidentiality and promote patient safety in all system activities

Qualifications

Education

• Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, computer science, business administration, or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare experience required
• Demonstrated advanced experience with electronic health record systems required
• Experience as a Cerner (Oracle) Community Works end user strongly preferred

Certifications & Skills

• Current AHA BLS (Heart Saver) certification required
• Strong data collection, analysis, and interpretation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment

• Hospital office setting with frequent interruptions
• Daily collaboration with clinical, administrative, and revenue cycle staff
• Exposure to communicable diseases and healthcare operational stressors
• Remote and/or hybrid arrangements may be considered

• Base Compensation Range: $18.00 - $27.83 hourly, based on years of relevant experience. "Relevant experience" means relevant to the employee's responsibilities set forth in the job description as determined by the HR Manager, CAO, applicable department manager/director and applicable senior leader.
