Job Purpose Statement:

Responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing test results, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. They maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, develop and implement testing procedures, and follow strict safety and regulatory guidelines. The role involves

Roles & Responsibility:

  1. Perform chemical, biological, and physical tests on samples to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Interpret and document findings, identifying any abnormalities or deviations.
  3. Ensure all lab instruments are calibrated, cleaned, and properly maintained for accurate testing.
  4. Establish and update laboratory protocols to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  5. Follow all safety guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in laboratory operations.
  6. Support innovation by conducting experiments and improving testing methods.
  7. Work closely with other departments to support product development, quality control, and troubleshooting.
  8. Compile and present findings in reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Monitor and replenish lab supplies and chemicals as needed.
  10. Provide guidance and training to junior technicians and ensure best practices are followed.
  11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  12. Perform other duties related to the job and/or the operation of the company, in accordance with the regulations of the Saudi Labor of Law. Adherence to Cybersecurity policies and procedures.

  14. Dealing with data and information according to their level of classification.
  15. Avoid violating the rights of any person or company protected by copyrights, patents, or any other intellectual property, or similar laws or regulations.
  16. Compliance with Cybersecurity requirements related to the protection of user devices, Internet, software, systems, and Email requirements.
  17. Adhere to the acceptable use policy and Using CATRION information and technical assets only for business purposes.
  18. Obtaining the required permit from the security department or the owner of the authority in CATRION before hosting visitors in the company's specific sensitive sites.
  19. Reporting Cybersecurity incidents.


Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in laboratory sciences, chemistry, biology, microbiology, biochemistry, or a related field.

Years and Nature of Experience:

Relevant laboratory experience, usually 2–5 years, depending on the industry. Specialized fields may require more experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques, equipment operation, and sample analysis.
  • Ability to interpret test results, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensuring precision in testing, documentation, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to address laboratory challenges and improve processes.
  • Experience with laboratory management systems (LIMS) and data analysis tools.
  • Clear reporting of test results and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Working effectively with other laboratory staff and departments.
  • Understanding quality assurance and control measures to maintain accurate testing.
