Position Summary:
Material LP Specialist #2 monitors inventory, mainly in North America, and replenishes on-site inventory from LP suppliers. This position controls LP container calling and LP warehouse as needed to ensure availability of components to meet production plan. This position is also responsible for checking the pipeline of the supply chain followed by the Assembly production plan to ensure availability of LP components. This position is responsible for daily inventory control and timely monitoring logistics status, also works to ensure compliance with USMCA part requirements with both English and Korean LP suppliers in North America

Technical:

Monitoring and controlling ASN information, invoice, BL document with LP suppliers
-
Forecasting and issuing PO to LP suppliers in a timely manner following by production forecasting and changes

Assists with cycle counts and physical inventories as directed to ensure the best possible inventory accuracy

Compare the actual inventory counts with the ERP system on a daily to weekly basis to minimize inventory inaccuracy and figure out any errors that could emerge during breakdowns, feeding and storing.

Monitoring and reporting possible supplier capacity related issues to direct supervisor with analysis possibly affecting HTGP production line

Coordinates and improves projects related to LP components and suppliers. Projects include gathering and analysis of data and formulating reports and presentations to superiors

Resolve payment issues with suppliers and Finance team when it happens

Coordinates OS&D, EO, A/S, return parts related to LP suppliers while maintaining data through ERP system

Coordinates claims to suppliers and monthly system closing for LP components

Supports CTPAT compliance at HTGP and with subcontractors

Displays knowledge and skills necessary to perform assigned duties.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Physical demands in a manufacturing environment may also, at times, include safely handling various parts and / or handling the
parts flow in and out of manufacturing operations work areas which require pushing and pulling of carts. Work environment is controlled by climate in most areas.
