MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To lead the end-to-end implementation and interfacing of Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Operating System (AMOS) into a digital Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment, acting as the key liaison between all internal stakeholders and software developer, ensuring that the AMOS solution is configured, customized, and adopted effectively according to the organization’s operational needs and regulatory requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of the AMOS implementation project by managing timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery.
  • Leads cross-functional teams through business process analysis, data migration, system configuration, training, and go-live support.
  • Ensures alignment of AMOS functionality with aircraft maintenance workflows and compliance standards by reviewing processes, confirming requirements, and coordinating with relevant teams.
  • Promotes and drives user adoption of AMOS by delivering effective training and cultural change management.
  • Provides hands on support during user acceptance testing and support post-implementation stabilization and continuous improvement.
  • Leads regulatory and compliance-based approvals for the AMOS system including policy, process, procedure, audits and audit resolution.
  • Supports interdepartmental software integration needs with finance, materials, warehousing and tooling teams as necessary.
  • Leads transition from paper-based work packs to digital electronic work instructions with a tablet based end user experience.
  • Develops KPI and performance monitoring data sets to be automatically extracted for regular reporting formats and dashboard based live monitoring.
  • Ensures all digital and electronic safety/quality defense barriers are effective and functional within AMOS to ensure adequate risk controls and mitigations meet industry leading standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Bachelors degree in relevant Aviation or high risk/high reliability industry Equivalent qualification in Aviation industry for aircraft maintenance or airworthiness
  • Fluent in English
  • Demonstrable experience leading large scale AMOS implementation projects as the AMOS subject matter expert Strong background in developing AMOS implementation project plans with interfaces into ERP system Hands-on experience implementing and overseeing the latest AMOS modules to achieve a paperless maintenance environment
  • AMOS, Oracle, SAP, BI tools
  • Years with qualifications: 8 - 10 years
  • Aircraft maintenance engineering license or equivalent qualification preferable

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
