MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Maintain 100% DC power uptime across all telecom network sites to ensure network reliability.
•Ensure fuel consumption targets are achieved at each site through efficient monitoring and control.
•Analyze sites using Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS) to support effective Opex planning, especially for fuel and commercial power (CP).
•Supervise preventive maintenance activities in collaboration with suppliers, ensuring compliance with standards.
•Conduct regular site audits to evaluate the performance and service quality of First Line Maintenance (FLM) partners.
•Utilize RMS data to assess actual energy demand per site, ensuring optimal Opex utilization across the network.
•Oversee the operation and maintenance of power systems, including AC, DC, solar, and generator units.
•Generate RMS-based reports for predictive maintenance, highlighting opportunities to optimize operations and reduce energy costs.
•Ensure accurate and timely closure of trouble tickets, documenting the correct Root Cause (RFO).
•Quickly identify and resolve RMS malfunctions or data inconsistencies.
•Develop and implement cost-effective strategies for managing operating expenses, with a focus on fueling and CP charges.
•Manage remote site access and network asset security using IoT-enabled solutions. Ensuring complete validation and realization of Opex (Commercial power kWh and diesel consumption)
•Lead monthly KPI/SLA reconciliation activities with the customer to verify service performance and ensure timely and accurate invoice generation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A. Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunications
B. Minimum Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience.
C. Functional Expertise (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
• Hands-on experience in telecom network site operations, power system maintenance, or O&M roles.
• Strong technical understanding of DC/AC power systems, solar technologies, and diesel generator operations.
• Experience with Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS), data analysis, and predictive maintenance.
• Understanding of KPI/SLA frameworks and customer engagement for service validation and billing.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Familiarity with IoT-based access control and security solutions.
