Job Purpose
  • To support the Procurement team in sourcing, ordering, and managing supplies, equipment, and services for the smooth and efficient operations of the Yacht Club Marina.
  • The role ensures timely purchasing while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities Procurement Operations
  • Assist in raising purchase requisitions and preparing purchase orders (POs).
  • Source products and suppliers as per quality and service standards of the Yacht Club.
  • Coordinate with vendors for quotations, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Track and expedite deliveries to ensure timely availability of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
Inventory & Supply Coordination
  • Liaise with inventory and warehouse teams to monitor stock levels and forecast needs.
  • Support in ordering recurring items such as office supplies, guest amenities, F&B items, and maintenance materials.
  • Ensure all items delivered are of acceptable quality and match specifications.
Vendor Management & Compliance
  • Build and maintain relationships with approved suppliers.
  • Support supplier onboarding documentation and compliance checks.
  • Assist in vendor performance evaluation and maintaining approved vendor lists.
Administrative Support
  • Maintain the purchasing database and ensure ERP entries are up-to-date.
  • Process invoices, delivery notes, and GRNs (Goods Received Notes).
  • File procurement documents in line with audit and policy standards.
Job Requirements Education & Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in hospitality or marina/yacht club settings.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good knowledge of local and international suppliers.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
  • Understanding of procurement policies, processes, and ethics.
