Role description


Functional Analyst Job Description

    • 5–8 years of practical experience in test automation projects as an automation developer.
    • Prior experience with implementing test automation development in Agile SCRUM environments.
    • Able to work across all phases of QA activities, including script analysis, requirements and design review, test scripting, strategy development, execution at scale, and defect reporting/tracking.
    • Experience developing smoke, functional, and regression testing scripts for UI, API services, and back-end application layers.
    • Knowledgeable in Core Java and relevant Java-based projects.
    • Familiarity with managing automation software as code using Maven, Git/Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
    • Skilled in SQL and experienced using JIRA and HP ALM to support SDLC processes.
    • Experience with multiple scripting languages, including JavaScript, Groovy, Python, Perl, Linux, and PowerShell.
    • Proficient in automated test script creation and maintenance using Behavior Driven Development methodologies such as Cucumber and Gherkin.
    • Experienced with automation frameworks including JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, UFT, and web services testing using payloads like XML and JSON.
    • Background in defining and developing load and performance tests with tools such as JMeter.
    • Experience with script versioning and handling rollback scenarios in Continuous Integration environments.
    • Willingness to provide guidance and share knowledge with junior resources.
    • Previous experience working in large or global organizations.
    • Effective communication skills for coordinating with developers on feature and integration testing requirements.

Benefits
Compensation range: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
