Specialist Structural Engineer (Offshore)

We are seeking a highly experienced Specialist Structural Engineer. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of structural engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on offshore facilities, including platforms, jackets, topsides, and subsea structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and review structural engineering deliverables for offshore oil & gas projects

• Perform structural analysis and design for offshore platforms and related facilities

• Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and calculations

• Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., piping, process, mechanical)

• Ensure compliance with international codes and client specifications

• Support project planning, design reviews, and risk assessments

• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers

• Interface with clients, vendors, and third parties as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)

• Minimum 15 years of relevant structural engineering experience in the oil & gas industry

• Proven offshore project experience (e.g., fixed platforms, FPSOs, jackets, subsea structures)

• Strong knowledge of relevant codes (API, AISC, DNV, ISO, etc.)

• Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SACS, STAAD.Pro, SESAM)

• Excellent communication and coordination skills

• Able to work independently in an office-based engineering environment
