Specialty Coffee Barista

Roosevelt Coffee is an independent, family-owned specialty coffee bar established in February 2023. In partnership with Sightglass Coffee Roasters, we are here to bring a unique specialty coffee experience to our community.

The Scope

• Welcome customers, engage with them throughout visit
• Determine customer needs and share coffee knowledge
• Provide consistent quality in preparing and serving all drinks
• Participate actively in training to learn new and promotional products
• Continually work to expand coffee and product knowledge
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked store
• Maintain a clean and presentable personal appearance

The Candidate:

• Specialty coffee barista experience preferred
• Experience dialing in and pulling delicious espresso shots preferred
• Experience steaming milk and pouring basic latte art preferred
• Understand customer service and enjoy interacting with people
• Be passionate about specialty coffee and customer service
• Be extremely reliable, punctual and clean
• Enjoy working in a team-environment and building positive relationships
• Be able to work efficiently, eager to learn and open to feedback
• Have the ability to perform various physical tasks

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
