We are seeking an experienced Barista with strong expertise in specialty coffee and manual espresso machines. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent knowledge of brewing methods, and the ability to deliver consistently high-quality beverages while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using manual espresso machines and alternative brewing methods (V60, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, Syphon, etc.).
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all drinks.
- Calibrate grinders and maintain coffee equipment daily to ensure optimal extraction and quality.
- Educate customers on different coffee origins, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and café area.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies; report shortages to management.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive and professional working environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Barista in specialty coffee.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting profiles, and brewing methods.
- Skilled in using manual espresso machines and grinder calibration.
- Latte art proficiency is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for specialty coffee and continuous learning in the craft.
