Specialty Pharmacy Technician

Onsite - Hartford, CT | Shift: Monday through Friday, 12:30pm to 9:00pm EST

About the Role

Join a dynamic specialty pharmacy team where you'll support patients, pharmacists, and medication adherence programs through a hands-on, patient-centered approach. This is a great opportunity for a motivated Pharmacy Technician looking to grow in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

✅ Requirement: Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of employment

Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, label, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification
• Communicate with pharmacists, clinicians, and patients
• Support medication adherence through outbound calls
• Resolve insurance issues and assist with financial programs
• Manage inventory, supplies, and medication storage requirements
• Handle inbound inquiries and coordinate refills
• Maintain accurate data, perform adjudication, and support operations
• Identify issues, recommend improvements, and support process initiatives

Skills & Traits

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable ✅
Empathetic with strong interpersonal skills Ability to manage sensitive/confidential information

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician registration (required)
• CPhT certification (preferred)
• 1+ years of experience (5+ years preferred)
• High school diploma or GED required
