SUMMARY:
The Specialty Transport Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day operations including facilitation of internal communication between field staff and management, outside agency interface, system status monitoring, facilitating short-term scheduling needs, equipment and supply maintenance, working shifts on an ambulance, as well as other operational support functions as assigned by the Operations Manager or Director of Operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Licensing/Certifications
High school diploma or GED.
Current Oregon State EMT Certification
CPR/BLS.
Some advanced education is preferred.
Experience:
Must be at least 21 years of age
2-years EMS field experience required
1-year FTO or similar teaching / mentoring / leadership experience highly preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Must be able to drive an ambulance, wheelchair van and secure ambulatory vehicle and have a driving record in compliance with ComTrans policy regarding insurability.
Microsoft office experience.
Thorough knowledge of system status management.
Effective oral and written and Interpersonal communication skills.
