Specification Enineer

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with architects, designers, consultants, engineers, and relevant government and industry bodies across Saudi Arabia.
2. Product Promotion & Specification: Proactively promote range of construction chemical products and their technical advantages to architects and designers to secure product specifications in their projects.
3. Technical Presentations & Support: Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and seminars on the company's products and solutions to architectural and design firms, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of our offerings.
4. Project Tracking & Influence: Identify and track upcoming projects in KSA and actively engage with the relevant stakeholders to influence the specification process in favor of our products.
5. Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for architects and designers, providing expert advice, product information, and solutions to their technical queries.
6. Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support for ongoing projects where specifications have been secured, ensuring a smooth transition from specification to sale.
7. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on the latest trends, regulations, and competitor activities within the Saudi Arabian construction industry, particularly concerning architectural and design preferences and specifications.
8. Product Development Feedback: Gather feedback from architects and designers on product requirements and market needs, relaying this information to the product development team.

KILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or related field.

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in specifications, project management, or construction materials industry.

• Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships with consultants, contractors, and clients.

• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

• Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.

• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and safety regulations.

• Strong technical expertise in construction systems and materials.
