Position Overview:

As a Specification Engineer, your role involves working with architects, consultants, governmental bodies and engineers to ensure our products are included/ specified in project specifications.

Responsibilities :

• To promote and increase awareness of DCP products and systems in the pre-construction phase of projects with the goal to have DCP portfolio of products used in the construction phase.

• Promote DCP products and systems specifications to specifiers, clients, architects, and governmental bodies, through visits, seminars, technical support, specifications, in order to have DCP systems and products specified in all future projects.

• Develop and maintain good relationship with specifiers, clients, architects, and governmental bodies.

• Provide the technical support, specifications, and seminars to the consultants, project managers, and clients on running projects. Support them by conducting product presentations/ mock-ups at job site.

• Manage designated consultant target list as “key accounts”. Understand their structure decision makers and roles they play.

• Communicate continuously with sales personnel on upcoming projects. Make sure hand over of projects from specification stage to sales stage is clear and well documented.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering is required for this role.

Languages:

• Arabic (Native)
• English (very good, written and verbal)

Years of experience:

• 3-5 Years

Key Competencies/Skills:

• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of specification systems is preferable.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
