Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business Development Consultant to expand Ideolux's presence and client base in Riyadh and across the Saudi market. The ideal candidate will have a solid network within the architecture, construction, lighting, or engineering sectors and a strong understanding of project-based sales cycles, lighting standards, and regional business practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with architects, consultants, contractors, developers, and government entities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry.
• Promote Ideolux’s product portfolio and lighting design solutions across commercial, infrastructure, and hospitality projects.
• Conduct presentations, project briefings, and technical discussions with clients.
• Monitor project pipelines, tender opportunities, and prequalification processes.
• Collaborate with the internal lighting design and technical support team to develop custom proposals and quotations.
• Stay updated with market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming projects in Riyadh and surrounding regions.
• Represent Ideolux at local trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Prepare monthly reports on leads, progress, and business forecasts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in business development or sales within the lighting, construction, or architectural industry in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong local market knowledge, particularly in Riyadh and Central KSA.
• Existing networks with design consultants, MEP contractors, or government entities is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently or with remote teams.
• A valid Saudi driving license is preferred.

Working Schedule in KSA time

Sunday to Thursday 9:00am--6:30pm

Saturday 9:00am- 12:00pm

Friday Off

Total Working Hours 48 hours

Fluent Arabic Speakers in Riyadh only. CVs submitted in Arabic will not be considered.

Budget for this role: 15k to 25k SAR
