Experience in Special Education (SPED/504) and strong organizational skills are required
Some of the Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and review personalized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities or special needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students’ educational accommodations and services, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and district policies.
- Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting interventions and supports to meet evolving needs effectively.
- Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including educators, families, and external service providers, to promote student success.
- Assist in coordinating related services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, or counseling as outlined in each student’s IEP.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, meetings, and compliance activities in accordance with district standards.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on best practices for supporting students with special needs and fostering an inclusive classroom environment.
Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
