Speech and Language Therapist

About the Role:

The main purpose of this role is to perform speech and language assessments and evaluations and design / implement structured and individualized treatment speech programs to teach children with various speech disorders or delays.

Key Reponsibilities:

• Provide screening, consultation, comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, intervention and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement highly specialized speech and language therapy treatment
  programs to facilitate the recovery of speech, language and swallowing function.
• Provide ongoing guidance within each client s individual program to family/caregivers and other professionals, ensuring each client s continued progress towards realizing their maximum potential.
• Communicate questions, child s progress or other feedback to parents, teachers and Multi-disciplinary team members.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation pertaining to each child s program.
• Participate in clinic/team meetings, workshops and training seminars as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Speech / Linguistics.
• Valid DHA License
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Speech & Language Therapist
