Alia National School & Alia Autism Center in Bahrain is seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team supporting children and young adults with autism and communication challenges.
The successful candidate will provide evidence-based speech and language interventions within both school and therapy settings, working closely with educators, ABA therapists, and families.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.

Provide therapy targeting communication, language development, articulation, and social communication skills.

Support students with autism using evidence-based approaches (e.g., PECS, AAC, functional communication training).

Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistency across environments.

Develop communication programs and classroom strategies.
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting.

Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and progress tracking.
Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy / Speech Pathology.

Licensed/eligible for licensing in Bahrain (NHRA preferred).

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pediatrics or autism.

Experience with AAC systems, PECS, and social communication interventions preferred.

Strong understanding of autism and communication disorders.

Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
