Speech Language Pathologist

Job description:

Qualifications:

• UAE Attested Degree / Bachelor's or Master's in Speech and Language Therapy
• Has a DHA license or is eligible to apply for one
• A minimum of 2 years of experience
• Fluent in Arabic and English

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen, assess, and treat speech, oral language, social communication, feeding, and written language disorders mainly in children and teens.
• Provide parental guidance and training.
• Provide training/ workshops for other professionals when needed
• Write assessment and progress reports for each patient, and maintain records for
• each session.
• Manage a busy caseload autonomously.
• Liaise with teachers, doctors, other therapists, and families.
• Participate in clinic/team meetings, workshops, and training seminars as necessary.
• Knowledge of AAC systems is a plus.
