The Center for People with Disabilities in Qatar is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Speech & Language Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. As a valued member of our clinical team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and developmental goals.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions using best clinical practices and innovative therapeutic approaches.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, ABA therapists, psychologists, and special educators to ensure integrated and holistic care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, progress reports, case notes, and professional records in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers to encourage continuity of care and therapeutic progress.
- Participate actively in professional development initiatives, case discussions, training programs, and service development projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid professional licensure or eligibility for licensure in Qatar.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably working with children or adults with disabilities and developmental disorders.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and client-centered care.
- Proficiency in Arabic or English is required; bilingual proficiency is considered a strong advantage.
