Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for speech sound production, language development, voice modulation, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, physicians, audiologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals.
• Use a variety of techniques and tools, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards.
