Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide therapy for speech sound production, language development, voice modulation, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, physicians, audiologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals.
- Use a variety of techniques and tools, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards.
