We are looking for an experienced
Sports Application Engineer
to develop, maintain, and support
sports and facility management applications
, including
Security Management Systems, Venue Management, and Building Management Systems (BMS/IBMS)
. The role involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders and integration with third-party systems to ensure smooth delivery and optimal performance of applications.
Role Overview
The Sports Application Engineer will work across
facility, security, and venue management domains
, ensuring efficient operation, integration, and support of critical systems. This includes technical design, system commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
-
Install, configure, and maintain servers, software, hardware, and peripherals for
BMS, IBMS, Access Control (ACS), and Intruder Detection Systems (IDS)

Integrate building subsystems (HVAC, lighting, fire alarms, energy management, access control) into a unified IBMS platform using
building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.)

Conduct
corrective maintenance, software updates, patches, and firmware upgrades

Investigate and troubleshoot controller and hardware integration issues; prepare reports for bug fixes and change requests

Prepare project design and engineering documentation in compliance with industry standards

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including
facilities, security, ICT, and national security agencies
for system commissioning

Work with contractors and OEMs to ensure support during delivery and maintenance of applications

Conduct
impact analysis
, highlight risks, and provide Level II technical support according to ITSM best practices
Required Experience & Knowledge
-
Minimum 8 years
of experience in
BMS, IBMS, Access Control, and related sub-systems
(HVAC, lighting, fire alarm, energy management)

Skilled in
technical design, planning, implementation, maintenance, and performance tuning
of building automation and security applications

Familiarity with
industry standards and best practices
, especially in command centers, safety, security, and facility management applications

Experience with
tendering processes
, RFP/RFQ preparation, and contractual documentation

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a
multicultural environment
Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in
Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Technology

OEM certifications in
Facility Management Security Systems
, particularly
Honeywell EBI suite
