Sports Photographer/Graphic Design Intern

Roles/Responsibilities:
-Take pictures of game-action from multiple angles
-Learn from photographers who have covered professional and collegiate sporting events
-Work closely with professional graphic designers learning new techniques as social media trends change
-Edit pictures on game-nights to be used on league’s website and social media platforms
-Create original graphics using programs like Adobe Photoshop to be shared on multiple social media platforms
-Post content on social media sites, while also coming up with captions and using hashtags
-Create logos for teams and other season-specific logos as needed

Skill Set Required:
-Some prior photography knowledge is highly recommended, but not necessarily required. Applicants may be required to submit a sample of something they have previously shot.
-Prior experience using Adobe Photoshop is a plus. Applicants may be required to submit a sample.
-A knowledge of the game of basketball is not required, but will definitely help.

Location:
-Games will be taking place Monday nights at the Fore Kicks Norfolk (10 Pine Street in Norfolk, MA)
-Games will start on Monday, June 1st and go through August
-Other post-game duties can be completed anywhere where there is wi-fi.

Compensation:
-This is an internship where students will be doing the necessary hands-on work to get school credit
