Spray Painting Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead spray painters and helpers on-site or in the workshop.
• Plan and allocate daily painting activities to the team.
• Ensure surfaces are properly prepared before painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
• Monitor paint mixing, color matching, and application processes to achieve the required finish and quality.
• Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and other departments regarding work schedules and priorities.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of spray painting equipment, tools, and materials.
• Monitor paint and consumable material usage and report requirements for replenishment.
• Maintain daily progress reports and workforce attendance records.
• Identify and rectify painting defects such as runs, orange peel, blistering, and uneven finishes.
• Ensure all work is completed within the approved timeline and budget.
• Train and guide painters on proper painting techniques and quality requirements.
