Spray Technician

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused, high-energy individual to join our turf and shrub fertilization and pest control division. The position requires operation of a variety of lawn and landscape equipment and must be able to drive a truck and trailer. The ideal candidate will also be knowledgeable of plant materials, horticultural practices and irrigation as well as all state and federal regulations governing use of chemicals and application procedures.

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience. Position eligible for bonus and commission.

Job Requirements:

· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team player

· 2+ years experience as a pest control technician

· Excellent customer service skills

· Attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment

· Strong time management skills and attention to detail

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Daily Responsibilities:

· Ensure you follow safety protocols.

· Professional and effective communication with team members and management.

· Perform fertilization and pest control services.

· Apply appropriate products in accordance with FDACS.

· Diagnose turf and shrub issues during routine inspections.

· Complete detailed, legible service tickets to provide to customers and office.

· Operate and maintain power equipment including motorized sprayer/spreader, spray equipment, and gas-powered backpack blower.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
