Spring/Summer 2026 Costume Designers

The Performing Arts Academy is seeking costume designers for upcoming spring and summer productions. Qualified candidates must:

• Be able to create a cohesive design based on script needs, for casts of around 50 performers
• Be collaborative and communicate effectively with all members of the production team and PAA staff
• Be competent in taking measurements, and comfortable working with sewing machines, sergers, hand stitching, etc.
• Understand common theatrical costume standards and techniques, and be able to implement as necessary
• Work individually, completing design, pull, and build ahead of scheduled fittings, with limited support
• Work within budgets, seeking out creative solutions to meet production needs
• Work responsibly and professionally around children

All candidates must have reliable transportation and pass a background check.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $900.00 per week
