Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Sprinkler System Installer & Fire Alarm Technician to work on commercial, residential, and industrial projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate is experienced in fire protection systems, including sprinkler and/or fire alarm installations, maintenance, and inspections, in compliance with the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, Civil Defence regulations, and NFPA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems (NFPA 13) and/or fire alarm systems (NFPA 72) per UAE Civil Defence requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform system commissioning, testing, and handover documentation for Civil Defence approval.
• Troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all work, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to UAE safety standards, labor laws, and Civil Defence regulations.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers.
• Train or mentor junior technicians as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience in sprinkler system and/or fire alarm system installation.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and Civil Defence regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical skills.
• Physical ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Valid UAE driver’s license.

Certifications (UAE Preferred/Required):

• Civil Defence Approved Technician certification (sprinkler and/or fire alarm).
• NFPA-based certification (e.g., NICET Water-Based Systems, Fire Alarm Technician course) — highly recommended.
• OSHA or UAE safety training (construction/electrical).
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
