Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mid-Level SQA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test cases, executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, and working closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UAT testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Validate fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved before release.
• Maintain test documentation and ensure quality standards are met.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Technical Skills & ToolsSoftware & Tools

• Project / Task Tools: Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com
• Documentation: Confluence, Notion, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office
• Test Management & Bug Tracking: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr (preferred)
• Automation (Basic to Intermediate): Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (plus)

Technical Understanding

• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and STLC
• APIs testing using Postman / REST concepts
• Databases: SQL basics (ability to write and read simple queries)
• Cloud awareness: AWS / Azure / Google Cloud (basic)
• Familiarity with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics
• Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and release processes
• Basic understanding of AI/ML systems and automation tools (plus)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking and test case management tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance or security testing tools.
• ISTQB or other QA certifications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
