The Division

Jonas Gladstone (a division of Constellation Software Inc) is providing innovative Leisure Management Software to customers across the UK and Ireland. At Gladstone, we pride ourselves in understanding and interpreting the leisure industry’s ever-changing needs. We deliver state-of-the-art solutions to leisure centres, trusts and private leisure clubs.

The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced SQA Analyst to join our team with experience in AI-driven testing. The hired individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products through manual and automated testing. As part of an agile/scrum team, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The selected individual will work in the Contour Software Karachi office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications using Playwright
  • Create and execute automated API tests
  • Use AI-assisted tools to help generate, enhance, or maintain automated test cases
  • Contribute to automated regression and end-to-end test suites
  • Work with developers to understand features and define test scenarios
  • Identify gaps in test coverage and propose improvements
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Investigate test failures and raise clear, actionable defects
  • Maintain test documentation and contribute to QA best practices

Required Skills

  • 2–4 years’ experience as a QA Engineer or QA Automation Engineer
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web test automation
  • Experience with AI-based test generation, self-healing tests, or test analytics
  • Solid experience testing APIs using automated approaches
  • Practical experience using AI tools to assist with test creation or optimisation
  • Good understanding of:
  • Test automation principles and frameworks
  • Web technologies (HTTP, JSON, browser behaviour)
  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Comfortable working in an Agile / Scrum environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of performance or load testing for APIs using JMeter
  • Experience testing complex user workflows
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure)
