SQA Engineer

TEKHQS is looking for an experienced and dynamic SQA Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, focusing on ensuring the functionality, performance, and security of APIs and database systems.

Responsibilities:

. Develop and execute manual test cases for API and Database systems, ensuring functionality, performance, and security.

. Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar. Perform Database testing to verify data integrity, database queries, and stored procedures.

. Validate API responses, ensure error handling is proper, and perform load testing for APIs.

. Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

. 2.5 to 3 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer with a focus on API and Database Testing.

. Strong knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, SoapUI or similar.

. Experience with Database testing (e.g., validating data, testing SQL queries, stored procedures.

. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

. Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for database validation.
