SQA Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SQA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications through effective test planning, execution, and defect management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and/or automated) based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure product quality.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Work closely with the QA lead to ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA processes.
• Experience with manual testing and knowledge of automation concepts.
• Familiarity with bug tracking/project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Good understanding of web and mobile application testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
