SQA Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with a strong background in manual testing to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our web and mobile applications through structured testing processes. Responsibilities:

• Design, write, and execute well-structured test cases based on product requirements
• Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly using standard defect tracking tools
• Conduct comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman
• Execute regression, functional, and exploratory testing as part of release cycles
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high product quality
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test strategies
• Provide clear feedback and reports on defects and overall software performance

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of proven experience in manual software testing
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Experience writing test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• knowledge of SQL for database validation
